Why Abina exists.
Abina Care & Support was founded by Abigail Oppong Junior because of her passion for safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
Her vision is to create a service where people are treated with dignity and respect, their choices are listened to, and they are supported to remain as independent as possible.
The purpose isn't simply to provide care. It is to make a positive difference to people's quality of life while giving families confidence that their loved ones are safe, valued and supported.
Founder & Proposed Registered Manager
Founded from real care experience.
Abigail brings professional experience across complex care, community care and nursing settings. Her background includes supporting adults with complex needs, personal care, medication support and other aspects of daily living, alongside nursing and critical care experience.
She holds an NVQ Level 4 in Care and a Diploma in Midwifery, alongside additional care and professional training.
As the proposed Registered Manager, Abigail intends to oversee day-to-day management, staff, safeguarding, quality assurance, policies and procedures, complaints, training and relevant compliance responsibilities.
